
2011 Affordable Rental Housing Portfolio
Northwest Detroit Neighborhood Development (NDND) is the Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) responsible for the revitalization and rebuilding of the Brightmoor community since 1989. Since its inception, rehabbing and building new affordable homes has been the main focus of our efforts. NDND has built and rehabbed over 350 affordable homes for sale and rent at subsidized rates during that period of time. The LIHTC (Low Income Housing Tax Credit) rental units that are currently in our portfolio include 231 in-fill single family homes and the 23 one and two bedroom apartments. They are serving 30 to 60% AMI (Average Median Income) as follows:
